stuff, this weekend's edition

Two awesome places of the weekend:

One: Juliette Hogan.

I BOUGHT THIS.  IT IS ACTUALLY THE MOST FLATTERING CUT EVER. MY MIL BOUGHT JUST ABOUT THE REST OF THE COLLECTION

Two: Coco's Cantina.  Started with a great negroni to whet the appetite, ran into old friends, ate far too much and really enjoyed the atmosphere (vibe?  surroundings?  oh fucked if I know which word works best here - the Cantina was good, end of).

I also heard a rumour about fantastic soup dumplings on Dominion Road; watch this space!  Fuck I love soup dumplings. 

That enough "Lifestyle Blogging" for you?  We also had a beer and some antipasti this weekend at Eden Cloakroom.  This was not of itself particularly blogworthy, but we were facing a church across the road that was hosting (right word?) a wedding.  Lots of freezing looking folks in lovely, bright floral summerweight prints jammed into the church and there was one notable guy who arrived after the bride wearing slightly too-short pants.  A touch of class!
